Depicted as a handsome, radiant warrior riding a peacock and wielding the Vel (spear), he symbolizes valor, leadership, and wisdom. His six faces represent his all-seeing nature and his ability to protect devotees in all directions. As the son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, and brother of Lord Ganesha, Kartikeya leads the celestial armies against demonic forces. Worshipped widely in South India and by martial communities, he embodies disciplined strength, clarity of mind, and the relentless pursuit of righteous goals.
