How to Worship and Perform Aarti ?

- Take a bath and wear clean, preferably red or saffron-colored clothes
- Clean the temple or puja space before beginning
- Light the diya and incense
- Meditate for a moment and chant and Mool mantra 11 times
- Apply Kumkum on the idol
- Offer flowers
- Place prasad at the feet of the idol
- Light camphor or a diya
- Chant the arti
- You may use a conch shell or a small ghanti while performing the arti
